NYC FOOTY’S 50/50 & FLIP (FEMALE MAJORITY) LEAGUES

These leagues require a minimum of 50% of field players to be female. This is our preliminary list and are expecting a minimum of an additional league on Saturdays in the West Village.

50/50 = A minimum of 50% of field players must be female.

FLIP = The majority of players on the pitch must be female.

*We are pushing for change in an industry that, whilst operating in a male/female binary, has historically marginalized female players. This is why we choose to start here. We are aware of the shortcomings that the language used in sport presents. While this changes, know that at NYC Footy you are welcome always, however you choose to identify.
